The VCP is more than "just a club." Our focus is service, creating community, and offering life-enriching athletic and educational programming. Our members, through their financial support and ongoing pledges, as well as giving of their time and expertise, play a key role in bringing our vision to fruition.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I'm only in the area a few months a year or I can only visit the VCP a few times a month due to my busy schedule--do you have a special rate for my situation?
We have one membership type (no "full," partial, or seasonal), which requires a one-time donation of $3250 and payment of monthly dues. Memberships are not based on frequency of usage or what areas of the property a member likes to use. We have members who are here only a few weeks a year and are up at the VCP everyday, families who are local who only visit once or twice a year, and some who support us financially but never visit at all (or keep a membership just to bring family up once a year). Our operational expenses go year-round and we count on the financial support of all members to maintain our grounds to a high standard as we carry out our mission.
We understand that our offering may not be a fit for every household interested in joining, but it is the model that continues to work for our organization. We are grateful for our members, old and new, who continue to support us financially and are vested in our long-term success.
I only use one feature on the property. Do you have a special rate for me?
The VCP offers one membership type for access to the VCP grounds. No one feature exists without the whole...and it would be a nearly impossible task to track and monitor area-specific usage by household.
Do you sell day passes?
We do not sell day passes. In order to access the pools, courts, playground, dog park, or any other area of the grounds, a person must be a member, current on dues, or an invited guest of a member (being hosted by that member for the duration of the visit).
Can I access the grounds if I'm not a VCP member?
The VCP hosts numerous events, programs, classes, and camps that are accessible to the greater community. These classes and activities require online registration or payment for entry and can be found on our online calendar.
One recurring event that is a favorite of the community is our monthly food truck events, open to all residents of The West Villages and Crane Creek. Below is a list of the other events and programming available to registered guests (below list based on activities over the last year, many of which we repeat on an annual basis): Community Craft & Vendor Fair, Vintage Car Expos, Easter Egg Hunt & Dog Parade, Summer Open House, CPR certification courses, art classes, fitness classes, pickleball clinics, continuing education series, summer camps, etc.
Outside of these planned events or activities, a person who wishes to access the VCP grounds for passive recreation during our operating hours must be a member.
My friend is a member. Can I just be their guest anytime I want to be? If they give me permission, can I just visit and sign in under their name?
Our members often invite their friends to visit, but they must stay and accompany their guests. Additionally, a guest may not be signed in as a guest more than 12 times a year. We hope that visitors who truly value the VCP will consider joining on their own after getting to enjoy our grounds 12 times (we will notify members and their guest/s if we observe visits approaching that frequency). Signing in as a member (when that's not the case) will jeopardize the true members' status and is prohibited--please don't try it!
