Gather, Enrich, Serve
The Village Club & Preserve, a 501(c)3 non-profit, was established in 2018 by a group of devoted citizens who desired to see a dilapidated 10-acre parcel of land in Palm City transformed into a community-serving organization.
Since its inception, the VCP's mission was to enrich the community through athletics for youth and educational and enrichment programming held on its grounds. Volunteerism was, and continues to be, key to the organization's success.
Today, the VCP operates with a goal of strengthening the bond of community and preserving the grounds upon which we operate for future generations by sharing the beauty of our grounds with like-minded non-profits, engaging local families, youth, and seniors through athletic and educational programs, and encouraging volunteerism.
The VCP Mission
The Village Club & Preserve (VCP) is a local organization committed to
impacting the community for good by providing a place to gather, enrich, and serve.
The VCP Vision
The VCP will remain a positive influence on those we serve so that through our inspiring history, committed members, and the blessing of our 10-acre grounds and facilities, our community will be uplifted as we pursue opportunities that strengthen individuals, families, and our greater community.
VCP Service
The VCP is more than "just a club." The focus of our organization is service--neighbors serving neighbors as we accomplish more together than any one of us could achieve alone. Our members, through their financial support and ongoing pledges, as well as giving of their time and expertise, play a key role in bringing our vision to fruition.

About Membership & Financial Transparency
As a current or prospective supporter of The Village Club & Preserve, we want to provide clarity on how our organization operates.
The Village Club & Preserve is not a homeowners association (HOA), and membership is completely voluntary. Members are free to join or step away at any time, and we reserve the right to uphold our standards by discontinuing memberships when needed. We are also not an equity club—we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, led by neighbors and volunteers who care deeply about our community and strive to give back far more than they receive.
From the beginning, we were very intentional in establishing the Club as a nonprofit organization. This means our purpose is to serve our mission, not to generate profit. We strive to provide meaningful value to our members, who are our primary source of financial support and make everything we do possible.
In the interest of transparency, our annual Form 990—a public tax filing for nonprofit organizations—is available for any member who would like to review our financials. This document provides a comprehensive overview of our income, expenses, and overall financial stewardship.
Because we are not an HOA, we are not required to publish detailed budgets or hold formal membership meetings. That said, we remain committed to being thoughtful stewards of the Club and to communicating openly with our members.
We’re grateful for the continued support that makes The Village Club & Preserve a special place for our community.

Thanks to the generosity of 340+ households, nearly $800,000 was raised in our initial Capital Campaign. In May of 2018, The Village Club & Preserve closed on the property at 2261 SW Racquet Club Dr. in Palm City--greatly in need of restoration.

So much potential! The 10-acre property upon which we operate has undergone a transformation since 2018. The above rendering, provided pro-bono by Raul Ocampo & Associates, shows the original layout & plan that served as our vision

In February 2019, construction on the buildings began! In June 2019, the pool renovations were completed and we celebrated our Grand Opening on June 29, 2019.

The VCP is run primarily by a dedicated team of volunteers. Annually, thousands of volunteer hours are logged by volunteers EACH YEAR in the overall operations and maintenance of our grounds and in the development and execution of programming.

In November 2018, we welcomed 237 runners and their guests to the grounds of the VCP for our 2018 Inaugural "Run for the Village" 5K & Fun Run. Over $16,000 was raised for property improvements. In addition to our regular programming, the VCP holds several fundraising events throughout the year.

The VCP is more than "just a club." Our focus is service, creating community, and offering life-enriching athletic and educational programming. Our members, through their financial support and ongoing pledges, as well as giving of their time and expertise, play a key role in bringing our vision to fruition.
