Buckle up for a week of adventure as campers explore, create, and expand their horizons at Camp VCP!
Explore: Try a new sport, brought to you by local athletes and coaches! Pickleball, basketball, kickball, water volleyball, Newcomb, and soccer are all on the lineup for the week.
Create: Collaborate with artists to create real works of art and take turns preparing the healthy snack of the day with Amy Friedrichs, local educator, Master Gardener, and in-house chef.
Expand: Throughout all the activities, learn about nutrition, fitness, safety, nature, and the BEST of all things Martin County. Kids will come home each day ready to share about what they learned!
This camp is made possible by a team of amazing volunteers and collaboration with other local non-profits, including Palm City Art Associates, H2O Kids, and Treasure Coast Wildlife Rescue.
Our camp planning team is made up of amazing VCP volunteers who have a combined 50+ years in fields of education and leadership (teachers, previous camp counselors, business owners, and coachs), non-profit organization leaders, and educators. We know what makes a camp exceptional and with that goal in mind, are planning a week packed with activity that’s both fun and educational.
We have sought out counselors and leadership who come recommended, with validated references, and who have passed all required background checks. We only want the best of the best working with our campers, ensured through training and providing competitive pay to all our staff. During the week, your campers will stay engaged with a minimum of a 5:1 camper/counselor ratio. Each camper team will travel with their dedicated counselor to stations led by additional session leaders.
