SWIM SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The Village Club & Preserve is partnering with trusted local swim instruction through Pat Toner's H2O Kids for our lessons.  We maintain a scholarship fund to offset or cover costs of lessons for families with children with disabilities, those in the foster care system, or those with a financial need who might not otherwise be able to afford life-saving swim skills.

PICKLEBALL CLINICS

The VCP conducts clinics for both youth & adults on an ongoing basis. Come learn to play the sport of pickleball on The Village Club & Preserve's new courts!  We welcome our members to invite a friend on open play days for $5 court fee.  Open play days are on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9-10am.

RUSTY JOINTS WATER MOVEMENT CLASS

Led by Instructor Joan Ward 


This class for anyone who wants to get back into motion with friends through stretching and movement in the pool. Note--this is not a water aerobics class, there is no impact or jumping (not aerobic or for the heart).This class is strictly for range of motion and very helpful for those with pain and arthritis! Class exercises are from the National Arthritis Foundation. Participants must be able to stand flat-footed in chest deep water.


Location: Big Pool 

Mondays, Thursdays, & Saturday from 8:30-9:15am 

Class fee: FREE for members, $5 for guests/non-members

AquaFit

We are taking our water fitness to a new level with instructor Melissa Nowicki. All ages and ability levels welcome--you will be able to modify your workout to fit your comfort level. Melissa is aWSI-certified and a former Clemson University collegiate swimmer with 15+ years of experience in swim fitness & instruction. She also owns her own swim school, teaching children age 3-12 life saving skills and stroke development.

WALK-ON Wednesdays

WALK-ON WEDNESDAYS
Registration Now Open for Walking Class

Join Certified Walk Instructor, Lisa Higgins, for a fun, invigorating, aerobic-style, low impact, upbeat “walk.”

The choreography is kept easy and fun to follow, with rejuvenating music, but effective in results. This class is for any age group and any fitness level.

Classes are 30 minutes long from warm up to cool down and it equates to a 2 mile walk. All you need is a comfy pair of walking shoes and a bottle of water when it’s over.

This one-hour class and will take place in the Summers Clubhouse in the evenings this fall.
